Immaculate Heart Academy coach Diana Fasano has announced that some of the postponed contests from the first day of the Anthony LaRezza Invitational will be made up on Sunday, April 17, at the Eagles’ home field, in Washington Twp, on the IHA campus.
Rain postponed all four games on April 9. The second day of the tournament was played, as scheduled, on April 10, with IHA, St. John Vianney, West Essex and Jefferson winning their respective games.
So far, two contests are set.
At 12 p.m., St. Joseph of Connecticut will face Notre Dame of Lawrenceville and at 2 p.m., Notre Dame takes on Butler.
Fasano is also hoping to schedule one, or two more games, in addition to the two confirmed contests, this Sunday.
Beautiful weather is expected on April 17, with sunny skies and temperatures near 70 degrees, and the usual large crowd should be on hand to support a great cause.
